„We first unraveled the LIEBFRAUMILCH and then recreated it: the bottle now contains a top wine from the Palatinate region, but the fruit has and will always remain the LIEBFRAUMILCH. The label continues to show the beautiful Madonna but now she has an edge with a cheeky red star on the eye to demonstrate she is so much more than her good-natured and outdated self.
Just as the Madonna, this LIEBFRAUMILCH has new quality and design to bring it back to its former glory. Rarely has something given me as much joy as the ability to bring LIEBFRAUMILCH the honor and fame it truly deserves.“

The ”Black Madonna“ is our queen of LIEBFRAUMILCH. A wine that is closely based on the traditional top tier LIEBFRAUMILCH, the real former superstar. We select only the best grapes of the vintage from our oldest vineyards. For many months the grapes are carefully and calmly aged in classic wooden barrels on the yeast ”sur lie“ in our traditional sandstone cellar.
